These are what foals can and cannot do
Foals - Foals become mature at age three - Foals can choose to leave the herd at age one - Foals may stay in their original herd if they wish - A colt may choose to drive his sibling(s) out if he is the dominant of the foaling - A filly may choose to drive her sibling(s) out if she is the dominant of the foaling - No one can interfere if a foal chooses to drive out his/her sibling(s) - A colt may over-throw the leaders of the herd if he chooses (at age two ), but to do so he would have to fight the lead stallion - If the colt lost, it often results in banishment - If the leaders lost, they would be allowed to live out their days as elders in the herd[/blockquote]
